Florin Buzdugan
Florin Buzdugan, teacher at Questfield International College, graduated from the University of Bucharest with a Master’s thesis on the concept of what if? He became an English teacher, even though he initially wanted to teach Romanian literature. His path was disrupted on multiple occasions by the twists and turns of life.
He has been teaching English for 9 years and sometimes translates texts (be them literary or rather conceptual). He tries to be a better teacher each year and works constantly on trying to understand how the human psyche both helps and hinders progress in all types of people (and personalities).
His interest lies in combining the rigidity of grammar rules with the creativity of the human mind so as to appease both the conceptual framework of how language works and the pragmatic need to use it naturally rather than (re)producing norms and rules in his students’ notebooks.
