
Gelu Duminică
Gelu Duminică holds a PhD in Sociology and is an Associate Professor at the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Sociology and Social Work, where he teaches courses on Roma communities, minorities, and equity.
He has been active in the non-governmental sector for 25 years and currently leads the Împreună Agency Foundation, one of the most active NGOs representing the Roma minority.
Gelu has extensive experience in community-level intervention, with a particular focus on participatory community development programmes.
He has published numerous studies and analyses on inclusion, minorities, public policy, and equity — drawing on his experience as an activist, researcher, and consultant for various (inter)governmental organisations.
