
Claudiu Crăciun
The Politics of Time and of the Future
Claudiu Crăciun is a university lecturer and PhD at the Department of Political Science and European Studies, within the Faculty of Political Science at the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA).
He is the author and editor of several specialised volumes, including “State, Violence, and Sovereignty”, Tritonic, 2007; “Public Policy Management. Transformations and Perspectives” (co-edited with Paul E. Collins), Polirom, 2008; and “Power and Protest in Central and Eastern Europe” (co-edited with Henry Rammelt), Palgrave Macmillan, 2025.
Claudiu Crăciun earned his PhD in Political Science in 2007 at SNSPA. He has served as President of the International Association for Political Science Students (IAPSS) in 2002 and as President of the Global Society of Romanian Students and Young Professionals (GRSPsociety) in 2009.
In 2008, he completed a Master’s programme in European Politics at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Since 2009, he has been an expert for the European Economic and Social Committee and has been actively involved in numerous civic and environmental campaigns.
